Gail is the founder of gail leondar public relations, which promotes progressive books. She’s publicized more than 800 titles on sustainability, peace, economic justice, and human rights.
Gail has co-facilitated the National NPR Producers panel at Book Expo America and has delivered talks at Women, Action & Media, The Lambda Literary Festival, OutWrite, The Concord Festival of Authors, for the Ms. Foundation for Women and at other gatherings of writers and activists.
Gail holds a BA in Drama from the University of California at Berkeley and an MA in Performance Studies from New York University.
Peter has been promoting ideas he’s passionate about all of his adult life: first as a teacher and, since 1996, as a book publicist. He brings to glpr the added insights gleaned from seven years in publishing house promotions and marketing departments. Befitting his BA in philosophy, Peter especially enjoys helping frame academic books for a more popular audience.
Peter’s particular interests include: education, philosophy, food security and economic and social justice.
